Uphill To Mt. Horeb
Is this headless post saying "HI"?
Nothing more beautiful then riding through a shower of blossoms on a beautiful spring day.
Cool sign going no where :)
Some cute barns can be seen on the Military Ridge Trail from Verona to Mt Horeb WI.

Spring 2013
So we did our first biking trip really late this year. Like spring we were slow to get started....life's distraction. Typical to our first ride of the season I forgot my camera. However I have been walking the trail almost every day since so I have a few shots. It is the Sugarbush Creek Trail near Verona WI.
I've been walking the trail with my parents.
The walking pace allows for bird watching. We are beginning to learn the names and songs of the birds around here, including the loud Sandhill Crane. Which we have heard and seen flying ,but not close enough for a good picture. I will keep trying.

To Cold To Ride?
| graffiti under the bridge |
It was a little to cold for me to ride, so we just went for a walk. Do you ride bike through the winter?

Gliding through Minneapolis Part1
The weather was so fine this past weekend we went bike riding through Minneapolis It was more of a slow leisure glide then biking, with frequent stops for photos. We started on the East River Parkway by Broadway to as far as the U of M. Then turned around back to the Stonebridge. Across Stonebridge and up the river through St.Athony Main then across the Nicollet Bridge to Nicollet Island, around Nicollet Island(very pretty)..then up to the Plymouth Brigde (yes one side is open!) and back to Broadway. A very pleasant afternoon. I was looking through the lens with my art work in mind.
